Me and my Curly Hair
I'm really really self-conscious about my hair being curly, I got teased for it a lot as a kid and it really frustrates me a lot. I'm always really worried people are going to make fun of my hair so I'm kinda addicted to the straightening iron. But every now and then I can't find the time in my busy schedule to straighten it. due to the thickness of my hair and tightness of my curls it takes about an hour to straighten it all and I have to put up sometimes with just letting the curls go loose.
I got a lot of compliments around campus today for my curly hair and so I decided to post a few pictures of it.
Who knows?
Maybe I'll learn to like my hair curly and wear it like this more often.

30 Day Challenge
Day 01 - A picture of yourself with ten facts
1. This is the obvious one. My favorite color is purple. Everything I own is purple. Some people assume it's blue because I wear some clothes from High School
2.My favorite books as a child were Peter Pan, Wizard of Oz, and Alice in Wonderland. I always liked to dress up as the characters in these books and try to find these magical worlds. Took me a while to realize that these books weren't based on real events.
3. I love writing. A lot. I write all the time and sometimes it's the strongest urge I have ever had inside of me. My favorite thing to write is love letters. I write love letters even to people that I haven't met yet. Is that weird? Yes? Oh well. I don't really care.
4. My J term was spent with me watching every episode of Dexter and Weeds. I need more friends obviously if I had THAT much time on my hands.
5. The one thing I hate the most about dorm life is the fact that I can't cook. I love cooking so much and I really miss it a lot.
6. I also love to sew. I usually hand stitch but I love sewing.
7. I listen to like all types of music. My favorite band is called Cloud Cult. They are pretty fantastic actually. They're from here in Minnesota ♥
8. I will NEVER leave Minnesota. Ever. I love it here like words can not describe. It's my favorite place. Even if it does get insanely cold sometimes.
9. My favorite movie is (500) Days of Summer. I can watch it a thousand times over and love it more and more every single time ♥

I'm Secretly Obsessed With You
So like, I have a playlist on my computer entited I'm Secretly Obsessed With You. It's all of my Favorite love/heartbreak songs and so I thought I'd share 10 random songs from that list and why I love them.
I'm just playing the songs that play on my playlist randomly on shuffle and I have 80 songs in this playlist.
May Your Hearts Stay Strong- Cloud Cult
I love this song. It's the most beautiful description of a pure love romance that I've ever heard. I want this to be the song played at my wedding it's so beautiful. Even through trails and tribulations this couple still continues to hold fast to their love for each other.
Saltwater Room- Owl City
Osh My Gosh this song is adorable. It's just so absolutely sweet I can just never get over it. So sweet. Everything Owl City is sweet.
Fell In Love Without You (acoustic)- Motion City Soundtrack
Again with the Minnesota bands but hey, love who I am and where I come from and there you can find the best description of love. This is one of my favorite healing of the heart songs. Just getting over a love and moving on to heal your heart
When Doves Cry- Prince
Yes yes another Minnesota artist. This song is a little intense for me because it reminds me of my parents and their divorce. But I can't help but love it because of the emotional rawness.
Teenage Dream- Katy Perry
This song is very cute and sweet. Reminds me of when I've been in some sort of relationship (even the non official ones)
I Want to Hold Your Hand- The Beatles
This is of course the most innocent of love songs. So many songs out there nowadays are about sex and even kissing and whatnot but this is just about simply holding hands and that is something so love for sure. :)
2x2x2- Cloud Cult
Yes I know, another Cloud Cult song but what can you expect when I have my blog named after the band and everything? This song makes the number 8 seem like the most romantic number to exist <3 Trouble- Never Shout Never
Oh how many times have I been in trouble about a boy? ;)
Ring Of Fire- Johnny Cash
If you've ever been in love you've known what it feels like to be in a ring of fire.
Mine- Taylor Swift
Of course I would end this off with the girl who can write some of the sweetest love songs I've ever heard. What I love about Taylor Swift is that she keeps most of the love she talks about to be innocent and pure instead of it being about sex and looks and superficial things.
